Sayonara Y’all!

The time has come and gone.

There were moments I thought yesterday would never get here. Weeks would drag and months seemed to last forever. It would be during our final week that everything moved faster than the Melinium Falcon at lightspeed. But now we’re here.

Our family has been reunited and we’re officially living in Tokyo, Japan!

I’m thankful to everyone who made our last few weeks Stateside happily memorable. Those who called, sent messages, or made time for farewell cocktail hours or dinners, visiting us at the Four Seasons and hanging beneath the cabana. Y'all worked around our insanity. It wasn’t always easy for you, and not only does that add to my appreciation of you, but how much more precious that time was because of you.

Now that we’re here you can expect a little of the familiar (Starbucks, Shake Shack, Godzilla, The Four Seasons), and everything else that isn’t. I’m excited to share an ex-pat’s point of view as well as the tips and tricks we’ve used during all our moves, internationally and otherwise. Thank you for your love and support this past year! From the bottom of my heart I am grateful and look forward to having a little more free time to refocus my efforts here, while reacquainting our family with Tokyo (and college) life.

Cheers! Or as the Japanese would say, kanpai!
