A Spooktacular Weekend

It’s been an outstandingly memorable weekend for our family.

From beginning to end there was nothing that wasn’t fun, special, or afforded to our family and those of the other Partner’s in attendance at the bi-annual conference at Disneyland. It was planned so everyone arrived just as the parks and downtown area were decorated for Halloween, and as all the rides opened they were ready for the season.

It was beyond spooktacular!

I’m sure y’all saw much of it on my Instagram page, through the Instastories, and on Facebook. You saw how we were treated every night to private events on the properties (Star Wars night at the Launch Bay was the favorite, though meeting all the characters last night was incredibly special). There was champagne every afternoon, yummy meals provided. We rode all the fun rides and enjoyed the gift cards and special seating given so we could enjoy everything to the fullest. But without question what made it truly precious was that we were all together.

Getting a break from the craziness of life to just play, be together, this was what the entire weekend was about. We stepped back. We breathed. We laughed. We Disney’d ourselves out. It left an indelible mark on each of us and reluctant as we are to leave, we know that school beckons, Tokyo as well, and it’s time to return to real life. Thank goodness for the ability to capture memories and have the ones you love to chat with about your favorite moments. That’s what will perpetuate the lightness we feel in our hearts, the gratitude we hold in our spirits.

I won’t touch on all of Disney right away in the upcoming week, but I hope y’all will love a few more pictures from our trip. They made us all incredibly happy and ushered in the joy of a new season-both in our lives and the year. Enjoy!
